About the role

Middle Green Sports is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Bar Attendants to join our team at our Greenbank, QLD location. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Casual Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service whilst preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality workplace.

This role is integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their visit to Middle Green Sports is memorable and enjoyable.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with accuracy and efficiency

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions and maintain accurate records

- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including restocking supplies and glassware

- Provide friendly, professional customer service and interact courteously with all patrons

- Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations, including responsible service of alcohol practices

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during busy periods

- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management

- Adhere to all licensing laws and company policies relating to beverage service

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and RSG certification

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers

- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic numeracy skills for handling transactions

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously





- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude towards work

- Knowledge of popular beverage types and cocktail ingredients is advantageous
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive customer experiences

- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays
