We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Catching Supervisor to lead our on-farm poultry operations across Southeast Queensland. About the Role As a Catching Supervisor, you're responsible for the effective supervision, coordination and support of catching crews and associated personnel both in transit and across farm locations. The role provides day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring work is conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with Company policies, legislative requirements, Animal Welfare standards and established procedures.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Lead and supervise catching crews, Leading Hands and live bird drivers across multiple farm locations.




- Coordinate daily operations to ensure safe, efficient and productive catching activities.
- Allocate resources, monitor team performance and support the achievement of operational targets.
- Transport and operate forklifts, equipment and crew vehicles in line with company procedures and licensing requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks and hazard reporting to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity are consistently met across all operations.
- Monitor bird handling, loading processes and record accuracy to maintain quality and welfare outcomes.
- Develop and mentor team members through training, coaching and performance support.
- Build strong relationships with growers, farm personnel and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Assist the Catching Manager with workforce coordination, resource planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Need

- MR driver’s licence (required)
- Forklift licence (required)
- Proven experience leading a team in a hands-on role (agriculture, logistics, or similar)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- A proactive, safety-first mindset
- Willingness to comply with PPE, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols
