We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and Mechanics for metro-based work in Mackay. Enjoy local work, competitive rates, flexible rosters, as well as being home every night.

Key responsibilities:

- Assembly and build of heavy mobile equipment to OEM specifications
- Machine fit-out, commissioning, and pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
- Installation of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components
- Carry out testing, calibration, and final checks before dispatch
- Identify and rectify build defects or faults before site delivery
- Prepare and ensure equipment is fully compliant and site-ready

To be considered, you must hold the following:

- Australian Working Rights
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.




- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with mining & heavy equipment.
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant).
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
- High Risk work Licence (Dogging) highly desirable or willingness to obtain.
