We're after a Civil Supervisor based in the Northern Region or Central and willing to travel who lives and breathes those values. Someone who gets the job done with pride and purpose.

About the Role

As our Northern/Central-based Civil Supervisor/Leading Hand, you are the one on site keeping things moving and the one the crew looks to when something needs sorting quick.



You run the day to day like it is your own patch, planning ahead with your Project Manager and backed by a business that has your back when you need it.

Four things sit on your shoulders, every day:

The job runs on program and to standard. You are watching what is ahead, not just what is in front of you, and if something is going to threaten the schedule, you flag it and work it through with your Project Manager early.

The paperwork gets done properly. Diaries, ITPs, QA checks, toolbox talks, delay logs when they are needed, they happen on time and they are accurate, because a good job on the ground still needs to be a good job on paper and the rest of what keeps a job compliant and on record, done on time and done right, because a good job on the ground still needs to be a good job on paper.

You solve problems where they happen and know what to escalate. Weather, a subbie not turning up, a hold-up on site, you work it through and keep people moving. Anything bigger, a delay claim, a design issue, anything that needs to go up the chain, you catch it early, document it properly, and get it to your Project Manager, so nothing sits unreported.

You set the standard for your crew. People show up ready because of how you run the site,



not because they were told to.

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:

- Supervising day-to-day operations across civil infrastructure and roadworks projects.
- Driving quality, safety, and performance, no compromises.
- Communicating with project managers, clients, and crews to keep things clear and moving.
- Proactively solving site issues before they escalate.
- Representing BDT’s values on and off the tools.

What we’re looking for

- Solid experience in a Civil Supervisor or a similar experienced role, and looking to make the next career move.
- Solid Knowledge of SA Water and other Technical Standards
- A current White Card and valid driver’s licence.
- The ability to lead, mentor, and get the best out of your crew.
- A sharp eye for detail, a head for safety, and a heart that beats for accountability.
- Based in Northern SA or willing to make the move.
