About RediMedicoLegal RediMedicoLegal (RML) is RediMed’s specialist medicolegal division, providing independent medical assessments and expert reports to insurers, employers, legal firms and other organisations across Australia.
We’re looking for an energetic, highly organised Client Services Coordinator who likes being busy, learns systems quickly and gets satisfaction from keeping lots of moving parts on track.
This role is based primarily in Joondalup, with travel to our Belmont location.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be right at the centre of our day-to-day service delivery, coordinating independent medical assessments and helping make the process easy for our clients, specialists and examinees.
You’ll move between phones, emails, bookings, medical documentation, client queries and problem-solving throughout the day, so you’ll need to be comfortable changing gears quickly while keeping the detail right.
You will
- Coordinate independent medical appointments from booking through to attendance
- Provide responsive support to clients by phone and email
- Manage busy inboxes, appointment changes and competing priorities
- Review incoming medical and claim documentation and ensure it is complete and ready for specialists
- Liaise with specialists, clients and external providers to resolve appointment requirements
- Coordinate interpreters, audiology, medical attendants and assessment locations where required
- Support clients with portal use, onboarding and basic system demonstrations
- Onboard and support recent telehealth and in-person assessment locations
- Troubleshoot appointment and telehealth issues to keep services running smoothly
- Pitch in across the team when priorities change or something needs to get done
About You You’re an excellent administrator first and foremost. You work quickly, stay organised and don’t sacrifice accuracy when things get busy.
You’re confident on a computer, comfortable learning current systems and able to scan medical or claim documentation, pick out the important information and understand what needs to happen next.
You will bring
- At least 3 years' experience in administration, coordination or customer service
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to absorb and understand detailed information quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence dealing with clients by phone and email
- Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities autonomously
- The ability to stay calm, responsive and productive in a high-volume environment
- A proactive approach to solving problems and following things through
- A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
- A positive, collaborative approach to working as part of a busy team
Experience within medicolegal services, workers compensation, insurance, healthcare, allied health or claims management will be particularly valuable. A Certificate III or IV in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
You will also need to hold, or be willing to obtain, a National Police Clearance.
