Senior Cloud Architect | Federal Government | Azure | 2 Year Contract | Remote Options
Frazer Tremble is partnering with a high-profile Federal Government organisation delivering significant cloud transformation and modernisation initiatives.
We are seeking multiple Senior Cloud Architects to lead the design and governance of enterprise-scale cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. This role sits within a large technology function responsible for enabling critical services that support Australian businesses and industry outcomes.
Working alongside enterprise architects, delivery teams and business stakeholders, you will shape cloud strategy, provide architectural leadership and drive the adoption of secure, scalable and modern cloud platforms.
What you'll be doing
- Designing enterprise and solution architectures across Azure and M365
- Providing architectural direction for cloud transformation initiatives
- Leading cloud-native solution design and integration activities
- Driving DevOps, automation and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and government standards
- Working closely with multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams
- Influencing technical direction across complex programs and platforms
What we're looking for
- Strong experience as a Cloud Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer
- Deep expertise across Azure services including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL and API Management
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking and identity management
- Experience integrating enterprise systems, ideally including Dynamics 365
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Previous experience delivering within large enterprise or government environments
