Join the dedicated team at Bowral Community Mental Health as a Clinical Support Officer and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of quality mental health services within the community. This rewarding administrative role provides essential support to clinicians and managers through clinical records management, coordination of meetings, data entry, roster and recruitment administration, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to delivering secure, efficient and person-centred care while helping to improve local processes and service outcomes.
Are You the Right Fit? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy team workplace. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
You will be confident using a range of computer systems, demonstrate initiative in day-to-day operations, maintain accurate clinical and administrative records, and build effective relationships with staff, consumers and external stakeholders.
Experience in health administration or a willingness to undertake further study in this area will be highly regarded.
Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent
- Describe a time when you were required to manage multiple competing administrative priorities in a busy setting. How did you organise your workload, ensure accuracy, and meet deadlines?
- This role requires regular interaction with clinicians, consumers, carers and external stakeholders. Please provide an example of how you used your communication and customer service skills to support a positive outcome for a client, colleague, or stakeholder.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
