We are looking for reliable, safety-focused candidates with solid hands-on experience in concrete finishing who are interested in local, DIDO or FIFO opportunities.
About the Role Depending on the project, duties may include:
- Concrete pouring, placing, levelling and finishing
- Screeding and trowelling concrete to required specifications
- Hand and machine finishing
- Edging, patching and remedial concrete works
- Preparing work areas prior to concrete pours
- Working around formwork and reinforcement
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Maintaining a high standard of finish and workmanship
- Following site safety procedures, SWMS and project requirements
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher / Concrete Worker
- Strong concrete finishing,
screeding and trowelling skills
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights
- EWP ticket
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass relevant pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Previous civil, mining or major construction project experience highly regarded
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
