Job Responsibilities: n

- Provide comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care to patients, ensuring the health and safety of both mother and baby.
n
- Conduct routine assessments and monitor the health status of expectant mothers and newborns.
n
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and infant care, guiding them through the transition to motherhood.
n
- Assist in the development of individual birth plans and preferences, advocating for patients' wishes and needs during labor and delivery.
n
- Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure quality care and positive outcomes for mothers and their babies.
n
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
n
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
n
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote maternal and infant health.
n

Essential Qualifications: nn
- Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognized in Australia.
n




- Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a midwife.
n
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
n

Desired Experience: nn
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in midwifery practice, including hands-on experience in labor and delivery settings.
n
- Experience in managing complex cases and emergencies during childbirth.
n
- Familiarity with the latest advancements in maternal and infant care practices.
n

Salary & Perks: nn
- Salary: AU$75,000 - AU$95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
