We are currently assisting Myer Melbourne to recruit an experienced Counter Manager or 2IC who is ready to step up for a permanent part-time role at this flagship location.
You will showcase your passion for our prestigious fragrance range as you lead your team to success through providing exceptional customer service.
This role is 36 hours a week across all store trading hours.

The role:
Within your role as Counter Manager, you will share your expertise with your customers, inspiring them with your product knowledge and recommendations for the perfect fragrance.
You will manage a team of passionate Fragrance Consultants across all shifts and will be able to demonstrate your strong leadership skills, along with your ability to teach and inspire.
You will be responsible for the operation and commercial success of your counter, ensuring that merchandise standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines. You will coach and inspire your team to build meaningful and successful relationships with clients,
whilst building advocacy for our ever expanding portfolio of luxury brands. Partnering with the State Manager you will provide feedback on brand performance, stock movement opportunities, and identify and implement strategies to grow the business and market share for the portfolio.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- Experience working within the Department store environment
- Experience as a Counter Manager, 2IC or as a boutique store manager
- Passion for the beauty, fragrance and luxury retail settings
- Impeccable presentation and grooming
- Highly developed communication skills
- Available to work 36 hours per week with flexibility across key trading hours including late night and weekends as well as flex ups during promotions and events.
