Monadelphous is seeking experienced Franna/C1 Crane Operators for immediate start on BHP's Port Debottlenecking Project 2. This exciting 18-month project operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster and offers attractive all-purpose rates, additional allowances, mobilisation payments, and long-term career opportunities within a leading Australian contractor.

What's on Offer?

- Attractive all-purpose permanent rates

- Overtime penalties paid after ordinary hours

- Site allowance of $4.50 per hour

- One-off mobilisation payment equivalent to 2 days (14.4 hours) at ordinary rates

- 12-hour shifts

- RDO accrual of 0.8 hours per day (4 hours per week), payable on termination or available for cash out by request

- Project superannuation contribution of $100 per completed week of service, paid in addition to statutory superannuation and available for cash out at project completion

- Long-term project opportunities with a respected industry leader

Key Responsibilities

- Assess ground conditions before crane setup and operation

- Assess loads to ensure safe lifting within crane capacity and site conditions

- Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks on all equipment

- Monitor crane instruments to ensure operations remain within secure working limits

- Position and operate cranes safely to support rigging and lifting activities

- Work closely with doggers and riggers to safely move loads using slings, chains, and shackles





- Maintain compliance with all site safety requirements and procedures

About You To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating cranes on construction or major project sites

- Current Construction White Card

- Valid Australian HR Driver's License

- High Risk Work License – CN or C1

- Relevant crane operating qualifications and licenses

- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices

- Ability to provide proof of Australian working rights
