We’re looking for a friendly, practical Customer Service Officer to join our Toowoomba team.

About the Role

This isn’t just a desk-based customer service role.

You’ll be one of the first faces our customers see when they walk through the door, providing friendly service at the front counter, helping with customer enquiries, orders and pickups, as well as assisting with general reception duties.

You’ll also support customers over the phone, email, live chat and online channels.

You don't need to be an agricultural expert. If you have a rural background, have grown up around farming, horses or livestock, or simply have a genuine interest in rural life, we’ll help you build the product knowledge you need.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional face-to-face service at the front counter
- Helping customers with product enquiries, orders, purchases and pickups
- Answering incoming calls and assisting with general reception enquiries
- Responding to customer emails, live chat and online enquiries
- Processing and coordinating customer orders and returns
- Learning our agricultural product range so you can confidently help customers find the right products
- Keeping customers updated on their orders and pickups




- Working closely with our sales and warehouse teams to get customers sorted
- Recording customer enquiries and interactions in our systems
- Assisting with general customer service and administration as required

What We’re Looking For You don’t need years of agricultural industry experience to be great at this role.

If you’ve grown up on a farm, been around horses or livestock, lived on acreage, or simply have a genuine interest in rural life, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, confident and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Comfortable dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the phone
- Practical, down-to-earth and willing to learn
- Organised and able to juggle different customer enquiries
- Confident using computers and willing to learn new systems
- A team player who is happy to pitch in where needed

Experience in customer service, retail, reception, rural merchandise, trade counter or a similar customer-facing role would be highly regarded. Already know a bit about horses, cattle, troughs, tanks, pipe, fencing, animal health or life on the land? Even better — but we can teach the right person the rest.
