This is: the job A major organisation is seeking an experienced Program Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead a significant cyber security-focused program of work. This is a high-profile engagement that will see you partnering across technology, cyber security, risk, data and business teams to deliver critical initiatives that strengthen security, governance and organisational resilience.

You'll bring a strong understanding of cyber security programs, data governance and risk management, combined with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive outcomes across multiple workstreams. This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategy, improve risk maturity and deliver lasting business value.

Based in Melbourne, this contract offers an initial 12-month term with immediate commencement available.

This is: what you'll do

- Lead the delivery of a complex cyber security program across multiple workstreams
- Drive planning, governance, reporting and program controls to ensure successful outcomes
- Manage risks, dependencies, issues and mitigation activities across the program
- Collaborate with cyber security, technology, data and business stakeholders
- Oversee project delivery partners and internal teams to achieve key milestones
- Support cyber security, data governance and risk uplift initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees and executive stakeholder engagement
- Deliver clear program reporting, status updates and executive communications
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, security requirements and delivery outcomes

- Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale technology initiatives
- Strong cyber security program delivery experience
- Proven background working with cyber risk, governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience delivering data-related initiatives, including data governance, data risk or information management programs
- Strong risk assessment and risk management capability
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience operating within complex enterprise environments
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to commence at short notice preferred
