About the Role
Delivery and implementation
- Deliver technology and business improvement initiatives, defining scope, outcomes, milestones, risks and accountabilities.
- Coordinate stakeholders and vendors through testing, implementation, handover and adoption, escalating risks early.
Business analysis and solution shaping
- Identify stakeholder needs and document processes, requirements, acceptance criteria and solution options.
- Shape fit-for-purpose solutions that reduce complexity, manual effort and control gaps.
Change, adoption and continuous improvement
- Coordinate change, communications, training and readiness, supported by clear documentation.
- Confirm benefits, monitor adoption and data quality, and coordinate improvements.
Vendor, governance and risk management
- Set delivery and acceptance expectations, track supplier commitment and coordinate provider dependencies.
- Embed ownership, support, security, privacy, records, change control and lifecycle requirements.
Operational support
- Provide occasional hands-on support to assist staff with IT issues, onsite triage, testing and deployment support while retaining provider accountability.
Working approach and outcomes
- Manage concurrent priorities autonomously, communicate clearly and balance delivery pace with governance and security.
- Success is measured by clear requirements, adopted outcomes, accountable vendors, effective handover and visible risk ownership.
To be successful in this role, you will bring
Essential
- Experience delivering technology projects or business improvements through adoption and operational handover.
- Business analysis experience in requirements, process mapping, solution options and acceptance criteria.
- Experience leading projects or workstreams through planning, risk management, testing and implementation.
- Experience coordinating service providers and supporting change, training and adoption.
- Experience developing governance and operational documentation within service management,
change and security processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and contemporary business application administration, security and support.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and communicate with business, technical and vendor audiences.
- Willingness to provide occasional onsite and out-of-hours implementation support.
Desirable
- Relevant qualification, certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a regulated, safety-critical, 24/7 or contracted operational environment.
- Knowledge of integrated management systems, IT/OT interfaces and associated controls.
- Experience with enterprise platforms and business applications such as ERP, finance, document and records management or service management, and with workflow automation or low-code tools such as Airtable, Power Platform or Power BI.
- Exposure to cyber security, risk, compliance, records or operational resilience.

Further to this, successful candidates will be required to provide a National Police Certificate where requested throughout employment and maintain their Rail Safety Medical status.
