CULT COSMETICA is an established skin and beauty studio on Beaufort Street, Inglewood, now in its ninth year. We are seeking an experienced Dermal or Beauty Therapist to join our small team, part time, on an average of three and a half days a week — $36 to $45 per hour above award, plus commission.

THE ROSTER A job share with our other therapist, on an alternating roster of three days one week and four the next, including a Saturday in the four-day week — an average of three and a half days. The roster includes one crossover day each week for handover. Immediate start available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a clinical skin role, and equally a role about how a treatment feels. You will conduct skin health evaluations using the SkinScope, prescribe and manage treatment plans, and deliver chemical peels, Dermapen needling, HydraFacial, Healite II LED and epidermal levelling — with the facial massage technique and pacing that make a results-driven treatment a relaxing one. Our clients book for the outcome and return for the experience.

Our back bar is iS Clinical, Medik8 and Mesoestetic. Our retail floor is considerably broader — skincare, makeup and fragrance across a wide range of brands — and product knowledge is part of the role.

Between treatments you will be on the floor with the rest of the team, looking after walk-in customers, assisting with retail sales and sharing in the day-to-day running of the shop — stock, testers, merchandising, presentation and opening and closing.



We are a small studio and the retail floor is a real part of the day, not an afterthought — we are looking for someone who enjoys that side of it as much as the treatment room.

ESSENTIAL

- Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or higher; dermal qualifications welcome but not required
- Skilled facial massage technique, and genuine care for the client's comfort and relaxation throughout treatment
- Minimum two years' experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with HydraFacial and Dermapen skin needling
- Skilled in skin consultation, treatment planning and product prescription
- Sound working knowledge of ingredients and active formulations
- Confident on the retail floor with walk-in customers, comfortable selling, and happy to share in the running of the shop

DESIRABLE

- Experience with Healite II LED or epidermal levelling
- Familiarity with iS Clinical, Medik8 or Mesoestetic
- Upper body massage and aromatherapy technique

Training is provided on any equipment or brand you have not worked with, and we invest in ongoing in-clinic education.
