South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) is looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join our team at Hemmant.
This is a hands-on role working across a range of heavy machinery and mobile equipment, including Caterpillar and Volvo loaders, LF forklifts, High Reach Stackers and smaller forklifts.
About the Role
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Overtime may be required
- Pay is based on experience
- Servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
- Maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment
- Ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is qualified as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Has proven experience working on heavy machinery and mobile plant
- Is confident with mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Has a robust mechanical aptitude
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Is reliable and safety-focused
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Can successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
Drug & Alcohol Testing
As part of our commitment to workplace safety, SEQH conducts random Drug & Alcohol testing monthly, as well as pre-employment testing. Location: Hemmant, Brisbane
