Deliver a high level nutrition and dietetic services to patients and to other stakeholders/customers within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) taking a lead role across a complex, varied or specialised caseload to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research as a member of the eating disorder multidisciplinary team.
The Role An prospect has become available for a Dietitian – Senior (Eating Disorder) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Manage workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic services across the continuum of care within a multidisciplinary team
- Identify and contribute to the development of evidence based clinical practices/guidelines, procedures, protocols and education materials
- Contribute to clinical research activities while developing clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise
- Provide clinical education and act as a primary supervisor role for clinical student placements
- Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
- Available to take part in the weekend and on call rosters across the HHS
- Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (15.2 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
