Active Ability Care – Supporting Adults & Kids to Live - Getting outdoors as much as possible.

Sydney and Western Sydney

We’re on the lookout for a few Disability Support Workers – people that are genuine, reliable, and human (that part’s key).

We have participants in three locations needing extra supports:

1. City area: East lakes, Redfern and Kensington (Looking for English speaking Female 35+ in age)
2. West: Minto, Campbelltown (Looking for English speaking Female)
3. North: Pennant Hills (Looking for English speaking supports)

We can give you lots of hours or just a few hours a week, we are very flexible. Here’s what the job actually looks like:

Helping people with everyday stuff like cooking, cleaning, or getting to appointments.

- Supporting independence – whether it’s building life skills or just having a good yarn over a cuppa.
- Sometimes it's supporting someone at their job as a gardener. Sometimes it’s meal prepping. Sometimes it’s just hanging out and being good company.
- You might be in someone’s home, in the community, or out at the beach on a Tuesday afternoon. No two days are the same (and that’s part of the charm).

Who you are:

- You’re kind, down-to-earth,

and a good communicator.
- You’re reliable. If you say you’ll show up, you show up.
- You don’t need a pile of certificates (though experience helps), but you do need the essentials – a driver's licence, WWC (or willing to get one) and NDIS worker check (again we can get this later), and a positive attitude.

What we offer:

- Flexible hours – You can try to work 35 hours a week or you can just work 3 hours a week to support your other income.
- A team that actually cares – we’ve got your back.
- Ongoing training (without the eye-glazing PowerPoints).
- Clients matched to you – no awkward fits
- Real connection and purpose in your day.

This role suits people from all walks of life – parents, students, retirees, career-changers. Whether you’re experienced or new to the field, if you’re compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a difference – we want to hear from you. Interested?

Drop us a line – no polished resume needed straight away. Just tell us a bit about yourself and why this sounds like your kind of thing. Let’s start a conversation.
