Salt Search is partnering exclusively with a leading global organisation to appoint an exceptional Director of IT & Transformation (or emerging CIO) to lead a critical business transformation agenda.

You are a leader who moves effortlessly between strategy and execution. You can engage and influence board members and C-suite stakeholders while also ensuring complex programs are successfully delivered. You understand how to align technology, people, processes, and organisational capability to achieve sustainable business outcomes and create long-term value.

Responsibilities

- Coaching and developing and building a high performing team,
- Leading a significant ERP implementation and associated enterprise transformation activities.
- Developing and executing technology and transformation roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- Driving operational excellence, workforce optimisation, and organisational capability uplift.
- Ensuring robust governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Leading high-performing technology and project delivery teams across a global workplace.
- Building strong executive stakeholder relationships and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

- Proven success leading large-scale IT, ERP, digital,



and enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, governance frameworks, and business cases.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at Board and Executive levels.
- Experience leading teams within complex, matrixed, multinational organisations in commercial industry.
- A track record of aligning technology investment with strategic business priorities and workforce effectiveness.
- Strong risk management, compliance, and governance capabilities.
- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Exposure to global commercial organisations/ highly matrixed organisations will be highly advantageous.
- MBA Qualification
