Moreton Hire is one of Australia's leading providers of exhibitions, events, major projects and modular infrastructure solutions. We are seeking experienced Dispatch Managers to lead our operational teams across our branch network.

This is far more than a traditional dispatch role.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of your branch, managing labour resources, transport logistics, fleet utilisation, stock movement, warehouse coordination and service delivery. In many businesses, this role would be considered similar to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager position.

About the Role

Reporting to the Stage General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring people, equipment and vehicles are scheduled safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing daily labour allocation, rostering and workforce productivity
- Coordinating vehicle movements, deliveries, collections and transport schedules
- Managing branch fleet utilisation, maintenance and compliance
- Overseeing equipment booking and stock allocation processes
- Ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently and safely
- Monitoring labour, transport and operational costs
- Working closely with project managers, account managers and clients to deliver successful projects
- Driving operational improvements and process efficiencies
- Managing branch operational KPIs and service standards
- Leading and developing warehouse, transport and operational staff




- Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety

About You You are a hands-on operational leader who enjoys managing people, solving problems and driving performance in a fast-paced workplace.

To be successful you will have:

- Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, transport, warehouse or operations management
- Strong labour planning and workforce management skills
- Experience managing fleet operations and transport logistics
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- A commercial mindset with an eye for productivity and cost control
- Experience within events, hire, construction, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing industries will be highly regarded
