Greater Hume Council operates four Long Day Care Centres across Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Walla Walla, along with three Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care services in Culcairn, Henty and Holbrook.

About the Role

Greater Hume Children's Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Educator to join our team at the Walla Walla Children's Services Centre.





This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality early learning environment where children's curiosity, creativity and development are nurtured every day. Working alongside a supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering engaging educational experiences that promote positive outcomes for children and families.

We are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic about early childhood education, values meaningful relationships with children and families, and is committed to providing exceptional care and learning experiences.

In this role, you will:

- Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
- Contribute to a secure, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Observe, document and support children's learning and development.
- Work collaboratively within a team committed to continuous improvement and high-quality educational practice.

Salary and Hours This position is offered on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at the Walla Walla Children's Services Centre.

Salary ranging from $35.48 to $39.73 gross per hour, plus applicable allowances and 12% superannuation.

Essential Requirements: To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold:

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (Employee Status)
- A current National Police Check (completed within the last six months)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications relevant to an in Education and Care setting,
- A current Child Protection Certificate.
