Clarke Energy Australia is seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Site Technician to join our EPC team supporting a major project. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Electrical Site Technician will be an integral member of the Service team at Clarke Energy. This role is responsible for providing electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for power generation and energy solutions across customer sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Electrical Site Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the reliable operation of power generation assets across customer sites. You will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing gas-powered generators and associated balance of plant equipment, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This role is based in Werribee, Victoria and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule. You will also be required to participate in an on-call roster from time to time to support operational and customer requirements

- Commission, service, maintain and repair gas-powered generators and associated balance of plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults, respond to breakdowns and provide technical support both on-site and remotely.




- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Maintain maintenance management systems, service records, event logs and operational reports.
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality service outcomes and equipment reliability.

What You’ll Bring:

- Electrical Trade, Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification (essential).
- Previous experience in power stations, industrial plants, energy facilities or a similar field service environment.
- Experience working with power generation equipment, generators, gas engines, diesel engines and associated auxiliary systems.
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment, including engines, generators, pumps and compressors.
- PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting experience (highly regarded).
- Demonstrated commitment to Workplace Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (WHSEQ) standards.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Drivers Licence
