About the role
Orixon is growing its in-house electrical capability across three areas: commercial construction and fit-out projects, service and maintenance work, and residential and property maintenance. We're looking for an A-Grade electrician who is confident working across multiple environments, offering greater variety and job security than specialising in just one area.
Key responsibilities
- Installation, fault-finding and testing across construction projects, fit-outs and domestic or maintenance jobs
- Switchboard repairs, upgrades and installations, plus RCD and smoke alarm compliance work
- Reactive maintenance and property service work — not just scheduled installs
- Reading plans, specifications and schematics on larger project work
- Coordinating with our carpentry, painting and other in-house trades on shared jobs
- Explaining the work to clients, preparing quotes when required, and keeping the office informed of variations and material needs
- Keeping every site clean,
protected and professional — you're often the face of Orixon in a client's home or on their site
About you
- Current WA Electrician's Licence (A-Grade / unrestricted)
- White Card, current driver's licence, right to work in Australia
- Willingness to undergo a police clearance
- At least one year's post-trade experience
- Genuine pride in quality workmanship, able to work unsupervised
- Comfortable across both construction and domestic/maintenance work (nice to have)
- Solar or battery (SAA) accreditation (nice to have)
- EWP, working-at-heights or confined-space tickets (nice to have)
- Test & tag, RCD testing or thermographic imaging experience (nice to have)

With in-house carpentry, plumbing, painting, bricklaying and landscaping crews doing the work end to end.
