About the Role

Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and workplace of the school by providing a high level of facilities care and support.

Responsibilities Include

General maintenance, facilities, grounds, security and operational support of the school.

Delivering mail, parcels and documents, managing school supplies, stocktaking, registers and equipment/assets.

Preparing classrooms and facilities for examinations, assemblies, sporting events and other activities, including moving furniture.

Maintaining school grounds, including drains, gutters and waste, and assisting with cleaning and major school events.

Supporting school security, including operating security systems, locking/unlocking buildings and banking school funds.

Ensuring WHS compliance, identifying hazards and maintaining tools, equipment and records.

Arranging and undertaking repairs and maintenance to school facilities,



furniture, equipment, locks, and windows.

Liaising with tradespeople, staff and students regarding maintenance issues, lost property and damage to facilities.
