Role Title: Executive Officer/ Team Leader – REQ693764

- Conveniently located in Haymarket close to public transport
- Employment type: Job-Share Arrangement - Part-time
- 14 hour working week – Thursday and Friday in a hybrid working environment
- Temporary role: 12 October 2026 for up to 11 April 2027

About this role The Team Leader / Executive Officer provides high level professional expertise in the oversight of case administration, strategic and operational management related to health practitioners’ conduct, performance and health to ensure consistent application of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW). The role may oversee one or more profession specific Councils and support the work of their members and committees.

This role will ensure that the NSW Health Qualified Council’s regulatory mandate to protect the public is delivered through the efficient and effective management of complaints made in relation to health practitioners in NSW.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- Proven capacity to make appropriate decisions and manage complex programs in a regulatory or other professional environment
- High level conceptual, problem-solving, planning, and policy development skills plus the capacity to identify and manage emerging and contentious issues to resolution
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise and influential correspondence, build productive stakeholder relationships, and provide authoritative advice in a complex regulatory environment.
