You will be joining a 3rd generation lead firm with Director David Solomon, 5 Accountants and support staff. About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who is looking for a quality part-time position without compromising their professional career.
Working as part of a stable and supportive accounting team, you will provide all-round general bookkeeping services:
- Accounts payable and receivable;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Payroll preparation;
- PAYG / Superannuation compliance;
- GST, BAS, IAS compliance;
- Quality review processes;
- General ledger reconciliations;
- Cash flow management;
- Liaising with clients; and
- Other ad-hoc administrative duties.

Your skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience across general bookkeeping functions is essential
- Experience within a Public Practice Accounting firm or similar would be HIGHLY REGARDED
- Be self-motivated and have the ability to apply common sense and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly and efficiently
- High level time management skills with an ability to work autonomously
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office as well as experience with MYOB
- Experience with MYOB AE will be HIGHLY REGARDED
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and confidence to communicate with clients and other members of the team.
- Analytically minded with a strong attention to detail and ability to apply practical commercial thinking.
