Experienced Head Chef Needed For 1 Month Cover We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to support a regional Western-Australian restaurant and hotel during from the 5th of October to the 31st of October All travel is covered, accommodation and food is provided.

You’ll have the chance to showcase your culinary expertise in a vibrant regional setting, working with a Sous Chef and friendly team committed to providing exceptional dining experiences.

Role Duties

- Prepare healthy nutritious meals ensuring all food hygiene regulations
- Ensure HACCP procedures are consistently followed
- Kitchen leadership
- Menu planning
- Kitchen rostering
- Manage stock control
- Work well in a team environment
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment, and contribute to the team’s efficiency
- Manage role autonomously

What You Can Expect

- Competitive hourly rates from $45 (depending on experience)
- Working days: Monday to Saturday.
- Two shifts per day: Lunch and Dinner.
- Accommodation and meals provided during the working period.
- Flights to and from Leonora covered.
- Menu planning for mostly pub meals and the occasional sandwich catering.

Requirements:

- Reside in Western Australia
- Provide a clear National Police Check from within three months of application




- Strong knowledge of HACCP / Food Safety
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate desirable
- Australian Trade Certificate/Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of full time working experience
- Formal Cooking / Chef training
- Proven kitchen leadership skills
- Experience with Kitchen Operations
- Prior experience prepping pub cuisine
