About the role The Point Dental is seeking experienced Dental Assistants to join our large, contemporary and progressive dental practice located in Point Cook. Due to continued growth and upcoming maternity leave, we have several exciting opportunities available for full-time, part time and casual positions. You will become a valued part of our growing clinical team in a busy, established practice.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with a wide variety of procedures, including general and restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, All-on-4® treatments, oral surgery, orthodontics, treatment under general anaesthesia and sedation, and digital dentistry and advanced clinical procedures

- Maintain high clinical standards and take pride in infection control and sterilisation practices

- Anticipate the clinician's needs and work proactively in a fast-paced clinical environment

- Create an exceptional patient experience through warm, caring and focused interactions

- Communicate well and contribute positively to the team

- Support team members and help where needed

About you

- Previous dental assisting experience

- Confident working in a busy, rapid-paced clinical environment

- Organised, proactive and able to anticipate the clinician's needs

- Strong infection control and sterilisation knowledge

- Warm, caring and focused on creating an exceptional patient experience

- Communicates well and contributes positively to the team

- Reliable,



adaptable and willing to help where needed

- Welcomes feedback and motivated to continue learning

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded; practical experience, attitude and cultural fit equally important
