From the team behind the State Buildings, Lawson Flats is a new kind of membership-based social club spanning three floors in one of the city's last remaining Art Deco jewels.

We are looking for the industry's finest Managers to join our team to deliver exceptional dining experience for both our guests and crew. You will ensure a high standard of service and restaurant operations whilst promoting a positive work culture.

n

Duties & Responsibilities

n

You will be involved, and responsible for, tasks including, but not limited too

n

• The day to day running of the food and beverage operation in the building

n

• Running a positive and productive service for guests and the service team

n

• Provide an excellent standard and speed of service in line with the reputation of the venue

n

• Working closely with the Events Manager and Head Chef to organise, set up and run the many different types of events and parties that are put on at Lawson Flats

n





• Provide ongoing support and coaching for junior staff

n

• Assist with the continuous review, design and implementation of a unique sequence of service across breakfast, lunch and dinner

n

• Menu tastings and new menu implementation

n

• Assist in controlling operating costs of the venue - including payroll and cost of goods

n

The Ideal Candidate Must Have

n

• Demonstrated high level of restaurant management experience

n

• Exemplary leadership with a strong focus on the crew experience

n

• Exceptional service skills and guest focused

n

• Strong understanding of management and restaurant compliance practices

n

• Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods

n

• Proven ability in building effective relationships

n

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency

n

• RSA / Approved Managers

n

• Intermediate stock control experience

n

• Intermediate rostering experience

n

• Display excellent standards in personal presentation

n

• Demonstrate excellent personal and interpersonal communication skills

n

• Specific knowledge of booking and point of sale softwares
