The Rental Service Agent is a dual-focused role:

n

- Customer Experience Champion for rentals
n
- Sales Specialist for RV purchase demos and conversions
n

n

This position is crucial to ensuring customers leave satisfied, whether they are beginning a rental journey or purchasing their future RV.

n

THE ROLE

n

The Campervan Rental Agent executes all customer-facing rental operations and performs qualified RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This is a hands-on, customer-centric role combining service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. Across rentals and sales, this role ensures every vehicle, every interaction, and every customer moment reflects Indie Campers' high standards.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

n

n
- Customer Service & Operations : Conduct check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide ongoing rental support. Handle service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
n
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement : Prepare and perform RV demos, showcasing features, specs, and customer-specific needs. Ensure smooth handovers and all documentation is in order.
n
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management : Track leads, demos, and follow-ups in CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities, and support the RV Sales District and City Lead to meet targets.
n




- Product Knowledge & Technical Support : Maintain knowledge of Indie Campers RV models and perform basic system demos (lighting, gas, etc.). Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

n

n
- Must have: 1-3 years in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive environments.
n
- Must have : Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
n
- Must have: Ability to understand and explain technical RV/vehicle systems.
n
- Must have: Hands-on, adaptable, solution-oriented under pressure.
n
- Must have: Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in managing leads or customers.
n
- Must have : Driving License required.
n
- Must have: English and Nice to have: local-language proficiency (if applicable).
n

PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- Must Have: Able to stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods throughout the day.
n
- Must have: Able to lift or carry light to moderate items (10-15 kg).
n
- Must have: Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
n
- Must have : Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season schedules.
n
- Must have: Ability to interact with customers in different emotional states (excited, stressed, confused) with calmness and professionalism.
