This is a subcontract role (ABN required) with steady, ongoing work. You'll work alongside the owner on residential and light commercial moves — from a quick single-item run to full-house and multi-day jobs. You'll be trusted with the truck, the customer, and the gear, so we're after someone who already knows the trade and takes pride in it.
What you'll be doing
- Loading, transporting and unloading furniture and boxes safely and efficiently
- Wrapping, blanketing and protecting items, floors and doorways
- Disassembling and reassembling furniture (beds, flat-pack, etc.)
- Driving the moving truck between jobs (drivable on a car licence)
- Dealing with customers directly — friendly, skilled, you are the brand on the day
- Working smart around tight access — stairs, lifts, narrow doorways
- ✅ Your own reliable transport to get to the depot / first job
- Current Australian driver's licence (clean) or international.
- Valid ABN (this is a subcontract position)
- Genuinely fit — comfortable with heavy, repetitive lifting all day
- The right to work in Australia
- A problem-solver who adapts quickly and thinks on their feet
