External Clinical Supervisor for Private Practice - Independent Contractor

Professional Psychological Services (PPS) Skilled Psychological Services (PPS) is seeking an experienced AHPRA-approved supervisor to join our multidisciplinary private practice as an External Clinical Supervisor on a contractor basis.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor who enjoys supporting clinicians, developing professional capability and providing high-quality clinical guidance across different stages of professional development.

About the Opportunity This is an independent contractor position, providing external clinical supervision to members of the PPS clinical team.

Supervision will be conducted primarily remotely via telephone and/or Zoom, providing flexibility for the successful applicant and our clinicians.

The supervisor may work with practitioners across a diverse multidisciplinary team, including:

- Registered Psychologists
- Provisional Psychologists
- Counsellors
- Psychotherapists
- Psychology/Psychotherapy students undertaking clinical placements

The level and nature of supervision will be tailored to each practitioner's qualifications, experience and professional requirements.

About You We are seeking an experienced professional with:

- AHPRA-approved supervisor status
- 10 years' experience providing clinical/professional supervision
- Strong experience supporting clinicians in private practice or a similar clinical environment
- Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
- A supportive, professional and development-focused approach
- The ability to provide supervision independently through telephone and video conferencing

A clinical psychology background is preferred but not essential, provided the applicant has the appropriate qualifications,



professional registration and supervision experience required for the practitioners they will supervise.
