About us

Formed in 1917, QEC is a public sector Early Parenting and Community Services organisation, supporting families across Noble Park, Wodonga, Preston, Hastings and Morwell to build parenting confidence and help children thrive. We deliver a variety of services and support programs to families with young children (aged from newborn to 4 years of age) in partnership with government and not for profit partners.

The role

Join our team as a Facilities Administrator, providing administrative support to the Facilities and Assets Manager across our Noble Park and Hastings Sites. The role is part time, 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) on a 12 month fixed term, with flexibility offered regarding spread of hours across the working week, however working Fridays is required.

In this varied role, you will assist with the day-to-day administration of Facilities services, including managing Facilities Helpdesk requests,



maintaining asset and preventative maintenance records, coordinating routine contractor attendance, processing access requests and maintaining accurate Facilities and compliance documentation.

You will work closely with staff and contractors to follow up routine maintenance activities, keep records and systems up to date, and support the smooth delivery of Facilities services across both sites.

About you To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

- Administrative experience, preferably within Facilities, maintenance, health or a similar operational environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, systems and documentation
- Confidence using electronic systems and the ability to learn facilities management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- A professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
- Willingness and ability to work across QEC sites as required
