AirH2O is looking for a reliable, hands-on and organised Factory & Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a practical role supporting our HVAC projects by keeping our factory organised, receiving and preparing equipment, managing stock, and assisting with basic fabrication and assembly work.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and check deliveries into the factory
- Unload, organise and store equipment and materials
- Prepare fans, mechanical equipment and materials ready for site
- Assemble and modify fan equipment, brackets and other components
- Assist with basic fabrication and welding where required
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and confidently
- Pick and prepare materials and equipment for site teams
- Maintain stock levels and help keep an accurate stock/inventory system
- Notify the team when materials or consumables need to be reordered
- Keep the factory, warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe
About you
- Current Australian driver's licence – essential
- Confident using hand tools and power tools
- Basic welding/fabrication ability would be highly regarded
- Forklift licence would be an advantage
- Mechanically minded and comfortable working with equipment
- Valuable organisational skills
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Physically capable of handling equipment and materials safely
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in HVAC, mechanical services, warehousing, fabrication or construction would be an advantage but is not essential
