As a veteran owned business, we partner with over 20 Commonwealth agencies to deliver specialist capability, training, through life support and project management. The Role

This is a unique chance to lead a small, dynamic team responsible for the maintenance, repair, supply, training and day to day support of a specialist Defence capability in Brisbane. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll coordinate with a sister facility interstate, and travel across Australia and overseas as required.

You will lead a team of 5+ Facility Support Technicians, along with contractors and OEM representatives as needed, ensuring the capability is always ready to support training, exercises and operational deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and deliver all EPE support activities for the Defence capability in QLD
- Manage the EPE Facility Support Team in QLD
- Support and maintain the facility as specified by the Commonwealth
- Act as EPE's liaison to Defence staff and associated base personnel in QLD
- Support the EPE Help Desk and Operational Support function
- Manage the preparation, deployment, relocation and recovery of capability sub-systems for training, major exercises and operational deployments

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

- Project Management experience, or equivalent experience in a small/medium complex Defence environment (sub $50 million)
- Ability to lead both agile and traditional project support methodologies simultaneously




- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Valid, unrestricted driver's licence
- Logistics or maintenance support experience desirable
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with strict attention to detail
- High level of proficiency with MS Office; basic proficiency with MS Project
- Australian citizen, capable of obtaining and maintaining an NV1 security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel interstate and overseas as required
- Current first aid certificate preferred (or capable of obtaining)
