About the role

One of our Senior Associate's is moving back to Brisbane so we are seeking an experienced Senior Family Lawyer to join our established team.

This is a full-time position for a lawyer with 5+ years of post-admission experience in family law.

What you'll be doing

- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and domestic violence matters
- Prepare and file all necessary court documents and pleadings
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings
- Manage a varied caseload and ensure timely and effective client communication
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers and paralegals within the family law team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's family law strategy

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years of post-admission experience in family law
- Demonstrated expertise in all areas of family law, including complex property settlements and child custody matters
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court
- Strong client relationship management skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client service




- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Admission to practice law in Queensland and a current practising certificate
