About Us

At Maeka Group, our vision is to harness the power of the fashion industry to uplift humanity and heal the planet. We bring that vision to life through our two brands, Outland Denim and Nobody Denim, both designed in Melbourne and made in our own manufacturing facility in Cambodia. For us, sustainability isn't a marketing angle, it's the standard we hold ourselves to in every decision we make, from how we source materials to how we treat the people who make our clothes.

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate, driven individual to join our team as a Senior Finance & Operations Coordinator. You'll keep our finance function humming and our wholesale operations moving, working closely with our CFO and General Manager as a trusted, autonomous contributor.

Benefits

- Real opportunity to make an impact, in a team that values you and cares about people first
- Genuine breadth: a role that spans finance and operations, building skills most positions don't offer in tandem
- Direct, regular exposure to our team in Cambodia, a rare opportunity to build international operations experience
- A rapid-paced, high-performance team that moves with real drive and urgency
- Work with our passionate team in our design studio in Collingwood, Melbourne
- Hybrid work structure allowing flexibility to suit your life
- A generous clothing allowance to keep you always decked out in our beautiful denim

What You'll Do

Finance

- Lead the day-to-day finance function, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll with precision and full accountability
- Drive the month-end close,

preparing reconciliations and supporting schedules the CFO can rely on for sign-off
- Stay ahead of compliance, managing BAS/IAS lodgements and monitoring obligations across tax, superannuation, and workers compensation
- Partner with the CFO on budget-versus-actual reporting and cash flow, shaping the numbers that inform real business decisions

Operations & Logistics

- Take the lead on wholesale order processing in CIN7, from indent through to dispatch, keeping the whole pipeline moving
- Coordinate directly with our factory in Cambodia on production timelines, quality, and delivery, spotting risks early and solving them before they become delays
- Manage wholesale account relationships end to end, from claims and returns through to onboarding new accounts
- Manage inbound shipments with warehouse and logistics, keeping stock exactly where it needs to be

What You'll Bring We want someone who's energised by ownership, not intimidated by it, someone who sees an inefficient process and can't help but want to fix it, who's curious about how a product moves from a factory floor in Cambodia to a retail shelf, and who enjoys real accountability rather than a checklist.

- 3 to 5+ years in a finance role.

Experience within apparel or FMCG wholesale is highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience preparing month-end schedules and reports, not just transactional processing
- Confidence with Xero beyond data entry, comfortable reviewing for accuracy and querying discrepancies, plus strong Excel skills
- Experience with CIN7 or a comparable inventory/order management system is a strong plus
- Highly organised with sound judgment, comfortable resolving issues independently and knowing when to escalate
- An accounting degree qualification is required. Chartered Accountant designation is preferred

Our Culture We're a high-performance team that moves with drive and urgency, we don't do “that's how it's always been done.” Our people are comfortable challenging convention in an industry that hasn't always welcomed change. Sustainability is a genuine, shared passion here, not a slogan, and it shapes how we think about growth. But above all, we care about people first, our team, and the people across our global supply chain whose work makes these brands possible - it's the standard we hold each other to.

To Apply

If you're excited by the idea of applying your finance and operations expertise in a role that supports a genuinely unique, vertically integrated business, and you're looking for a place where your work will visibly matter, we would love to hear from you.
