We are looking for a trade-qualified Fitter and Machinist to join our team in building industrial transmissions and gearboxes. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, day shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform strip downs, rebuilds, reassemblies, and work on new gearboxes.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety standards and workplace safety.
- Work with heavy machinery and industrial power transmission equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and use workshop measuring equipment.
- Ensure the workshop environment is clean, safe, and all equipment is in working order.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with gearboxes and industrial power transmission equipment.
- Proven ability to work with heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols.
