About the role

Robin Hood Hotel is seeking a Food and Beverage/Bar Attendant to join our hospitality team in Norwood SA 5067. This is a casual position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards our guests expect. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be at the forefront of our operation, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining and drinking experience.

This position is integral to the smooth running of our hotel's food and beverage services and directly contributes to guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving meals and drinks with attention to detail and presentation standards
- Clearing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Answering guest enquiries about menu items and providing recommendations
- Processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately
- Restocking dining areas with necessary supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols consistently
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
- Addressing guest concerns and complaints professionally and courteously

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, bar tending or waiting staff roles is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests
- Excellent customer service orientation and a genuine desire to help others
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment




- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry food and beverage items safely
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, or willingness to undertake training
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting shift commitments
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and transactions
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- RSG certification is an advantage
