We are seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen & Food Services Assistant to join our team in Hastings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment, takes pride in cleanliness and organisation, and is comfortable working independently as well as supporting a wider team.

You will provide day-to-day kitchen and food service support, helping ensure meals are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food handling and organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Dishwashing
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area
- Keeping food handling and kitchen areas clean, organised and appropriately stocked
- Moving frozen meals into refrigeration in preparation for lunch and dinner service
- Stocking refrigerators and dry goods
- Obtaining daily meal selections from families
- Ordering food and supplies for the following week
- Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers
- General food handling and kitchen support duties as required
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and food service areas
Required Qualification
Applicants must hold a current Food Handling Certificate.
Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, hospitality, aged care, healthcare or similar environment will be highly regarded.
