Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing environment
- Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished steel products
- Move products throughout production and warehouse areas
- Supply manufacturing lines with materials as required
- Assist with the handling and storage of steel products, flashings and associated materials
- Complete inventory movements and stock transactions accurately
- Conduct pre-start forklift inspections and basic equipment checks
- Follow production schedules and ensure timely movement of materials




- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures

Your Profile

- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift operating experience within manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environments
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Confidence handling long, bulky or oversized products highly regarded
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Reliable transport and strong attendance record
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Must be able to pass a pre employment medical & D&A; test

Highly Regarded

- Experience working within steel, aluminium, manufacturing or construction-related industries
- Side loader, combi-lift or counterbalance forklift experience
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Overhead crane experience or licence
- Ability to read production paperwork and work orders
