About the Position

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to drive the strategic growth, commercialisation, and evolution of AEMG’s education technology platform. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving business growth, platform adoption, product innovation and operational excellence while ensuring strong governance, compliance and information security frameworks.

Particular focus will be placed on education technology strategy,



artificial intelligence opportunities, data governance, privacy, sovereignty, information security and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with executive stakeholders, university partners and technology providers, leading the development of future Cloud Campus business models, including platform expansion opportunities, new revenue streams, partner ecosystems and the delivery of next-generation digital learning solutions.

Reporting to the Director General and leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the strategic growth, commercialisation and operational leadership of one of AEMG's key strategic growth platforms. The role provides executive oversight across product innovation, technology strategy, business development, university partnerships, data governance and platform operations, while driving new revenue opportunities, market expansion and the delivery of next-generation education technology solutions. Working closely with executive stakeholders and institutional partners, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping AEMG's digital education strategy and the future growth of Cloud Campus.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Cloud Campus' strategic plan, driving sustainable growth, commercialisation and market expansion.
- Platform Innovation: Lead the evolution of Cloud Campus into a next-generation education technology platform, overseeing product strategy, technology development and innovation initiatives.
- Commercial Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and revenue streams while increasing platform adoption and market penetration.
- University Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional partners, ensuring platform solutions align with partner needs and future opportunities.
- Data Governance & Security:



Establish and maintain robust frameworks for privacy, data governance, cyber security and regulatory compliance.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, forecasting, profitability and performance reporting to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
- Operational Excellence: Drive service quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across platform delivery and customer experience.
- Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, mentor and develop teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, Data Governance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in technology, education technology, digital services, SaaS or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership or general management position.
- Proven success leading technology-enabled, platform-based or software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses.
- Strong commercial acumen, including business growth, product commercialisation and partnership development.
- Experience in strategic planning, digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, cyber security and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience within higher education, international education markets, artificial intelligence or learning analytics will be highly regarded.
