The Role
We have ongoing Investigator roles available in our Investigations Team. Reporting to the Manager - Investigations, the roles will be responsible for investigating certain allegations of corrupt conduct within the Victorian public sector and police personnel conduct within Victoria Police.
The Investigator will conduct investigations under limited guidance and supports the Senior Investigators in complex investigations.
Duties include:
- Undertake investigations; liaise with employees and organise resources; and making recommendations for action in accordance with legislation, procedures and industry standards
- Develop and implement investigative plans outlining the process, parameters, timelines and outputs consistent with policies and procedures
- Develop risk plans for investigations and implementing solutions to overcome external barriers which may impede the investigation process
- Prepare for, and conduct, consultations with people who may assist with investigations and identify further actions
- Provide high level support on reliable and complex investigations, including participating in the execution of search warrants, seizure of relevant evidence, and planning and conducting of interviews with witnesses and persons of interest

About you
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in investigations, law enforcement or related discipline is essential.
- Experience in conducting investigations is essential.
- Experience in the use of traditional and contemporary investigative techniques is advantageous
Please note that due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
