We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join a well-established Australian supplier of building material solutions.

Working with customers across the electrical and plumbing trades, you will be a key point of contact for the business. In this role, you will manage customer orders, handle inbound enquiries, coordinate deliveries, and liaise closely with the transport team to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.

Based in a modern facility in Bayswater, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team that prides itself on outstanding customer service. This position is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with optional overtime and additional bonus incentives available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage customer orders and handle inbound phone enquiries
- Keep clients informed on ETAs, backorders, and product substitutions
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up to close sales
- Provide live chat support via the company website
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling





Key Requirements:

- Prior experience in a customer service or internal sales position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A personable, friendly approach with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a quick-paced setting
- High attention to detail and solid organisational skills
- Confident with computer systems (CRM/ERP experience well regarded)
- A proactive, professional, solutions-focused approach with a strong team mindset
