Job Description

- Implement Caterpillar MineStar underground products, including Command for underground and Fleet/Detect for Underground, at current and existing customer sites
n
- Install and configure complete underground MineStar systems according to contracts and site-specific needs
n
- Configure system modules based on customer business analysis requirements
n
- Plan and execute integrated testing and customer acceptance testing
n
- Investigate and resolve technical problems and respond to customer questions
n
- Provide technical training to end users and system administrators
n
- Perform implementation and integration tasks for internal and external customers
n
- Assist with documentation, training, and functional specifications
n
- Follow project management processes and implementation assignments
n
- Provide basic training on standard implementation processes and MineStar system usage
n
- Support dealers and customers during software installation, configuration, debugging, testing, and system integration
n

Requirements nn
- Technical Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience in a related IT/technical/engineering role
n
- Extensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment
n
- Extensive hands-on experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure and cybersecurity
n
- Hands-on experience with mining heavy vehicle onboard technology system installation, configuration and commissioning
n
- Experience in Fleet Management implementations is highly desirable
n
- Experience in Underground mining is highly desirable
n




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
n
- Ability to undertake up to 25% domestic and international travel
n
- Full-time onsite work five days a week in the Caterpillar Perth office; Adelaide or Brisbane offices also considered
n
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants
