About the role

TKR Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team in Brisbane.

This role involves operating a grader safely and efficiently to complete earthworks, trimming, spreading and finishing activities in accordance with site requirements and project specifications. Experience using GPS/UTS systems is preferred for this position.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable operator who can work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a grader safely and efficiently to complete worksin accordance with site requirements and project specifications.
- Utilise GPS/UTS systems to achieve required levels, grades and tolerances.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Follow all relevant safety procedures, site requirements and SWMS.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other operators and site personnel.
- Complete work to the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate work records and report any faults, damage or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable machine and work environment.
- Complete online and site inductions as required.

What we're looking for

- Current and relevant Grader Operator certification/ticket.
- Demonstrated experience operating graders on civil construction or resource projects.
- Previous experience using GPS/UTS systems is preferred.
- Good knowledge of grading,



trimming and finishing operations
- Good knowledge of safe plant operation and site procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
