Your opportunity

The Guidance Officer (Wellbeing) role is a specialised guidance role, with a particular focus on therapeutic support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns.

The role will deliver a range of services to the school community, with a key aspect being to provide counselling and structured wellbeing supports to students.

The Guidance Officer (Wellbeing) will support students with a range of personal and social issues, such as addressing mental health concerns, managing peer and family relationships and improving engagement with schooling.

With this specific focus on wellbeing support, the Guidance Officer (Wellbeing) has a narrower focus of the Guidance Officer role. The Guidance Officer (Wellbeing) works closely with Principals, leadership teams,



community agencies and the student support team, including other Guidance Officers within the school.
