We are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Fitters to join our elite team that service key clients in the Goldfields region.

In this role you will be responsible for completing breakdowns, diagnostics and specialist jobs on various sites, along with major builds and rebuilds in our state of the art workshop

About the Role:

- Keep equipment performing at its best through conduct comprehensive inspections, servicing, scheduled maintenance and urgent breakdown repairs.
- Get to the root of a problem by diagnosing and efficiently repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults. Help things run smoothly for our team by accurately completing maintenance checklists, risk assessments, inspections, service records and reports.
- Travel to job sites for field work, breakdowns, servicing, and repairs.
- Share your knowledge and experience by supporting and mentoring and Apprentices and work experience placements.
- Work safely and professionally while adhering to workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

About you We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic / Field Service Mechanic who enjoys variety, solving problems and getting the job done right.

You’ll ideally bring

- 3+ years post-trade experience as Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic / Field Service Mechanic.
- A recognised Australian Trade Certificate; in Heavy diesel plant mechanic, heavy diesel fitter or similar.
- Current Australian driver’s licence (HR or equivalent highly desirably).
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy vehicle, plant, and machinery operations, including parts interpretation, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proven ability to inspect, report, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles, plant, and machinery.
- Experience working across a range of equipment and manufactures such as CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, and Hitachi would be highly regarded
- Self-motivated, practical problem solver with a proactive attitude.
- A strong commitment to working safely, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
