Qualified Light Vehicle (LV) Mechanic or Automotive Electrician Wanted for Trade Upgrade
Location: Kalgoorlie, WA
We are seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic OR qualified Automotive Electrician interested in transitioning into Heavy Diesel Mechanics through an adult trade upgrade apprenticeship.
About the role
Complete a HD Diesel Mechanic trade upgrade while earning hands-on industry rates. Work on surface and underground mining equipment, road transport and light vehicles in a fast-paced workshop setting.
- Service vehicle provided upon successful completion of your training.
- Hourly rate based on experience and skill.
Key responsibilities
- Work on surface and underground mining equipment, road transport and light vehicles
- Complete HD Diesel Mechanic trade upgrade apprenticeship
About you
- Trade qualified (Cert III) Light Vehicle Mechanic OR Trade qualified Automotive Electrician
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, and ongoing random drug & alcohol screening
- Interested in transferring your skills into the heavy diesel sector
- Self-motivated and keen to learn heavy equipment systems
- Valid C-Class manual driver's licence (HR licence preferred or willing to obtain)
