The Company

Amara Advisory is currently recruiting experienced HV Electricians to support the delivery of a major industrial construction project in Karratha, Western Australia.

With the capability to mobilise skilled personnel to major projects nationally, Amara Advisory supports Tier 1 contractors, EPCs and asset owners across construction, commissioning, shutdowns and project delivery.

The Project

You'll be part of the electrical crew on one of the largest industrial developments currently under construction in Western Australia's Pilbara region – a major new process plant incorporating extensive utilities, infrastructure, storage and loadout facilities, and large-scale HV and LV electrical installations.

The project is in heavy construction, with work expected to continue for the next 12 months.

- Location: Karratha, Pilbara WA
- Roster: 20 days on / 8 days off (20:8)
- Hours: 10-hour days, plus unpaid meal break
- Mobilisation: FIFO Austalia-wide & NZ – flights, accommodation and meals provided while on site. I

The Role

- Installation, termination and testing of HV and LV cabling, switchgear, transformers and substation equipment
- HV switching and isolations in accordance with site procedures
- Cable tray, ladder and support installation, glanding and terminations to project specifications and electrical drawings
- Working as part of a crew in a large greenfield construction setting, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity

About you

- WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- HV Switching (issued within 36 months)
- LVR / CPR (issued within 12 months)
- Construction White Card
- Demonstrated HV experience on major resources,



oil & gas or industrial construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (desirable)
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Australian Work Rights (passport, birth certificate or visa)
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to commit to a 20:8 FIFO roster
